Hipporello extends Trello into something far bigger — forms, automations and service-desk workflows — without asking users to write a line of code. I worked on both the product design and the marketing site, with no-code thinking at the center of the whole effort.
Challenge
Trello is wonderful for collaboration but thin on deep customization: integrating external systems, building forms and setting up automations is hard without engineering help. The design had to add that power while protecting the simplicity people already love.
Approach
I designed the Power-Ups to feel like a native part of Trello, folding form creation, automatic labelling and external communication directly into its familiar interface. The website was built in Framer, using interactivity and motion to make those capabilities tangible and easy to grasp.
Outcome
Teams can now run richer workflows inside Trello without technical skills — and the site communicates that value in a polished, dynamic way. The project was a deep lesson in user-centric design and how far no-code tooling can go.
